Anna Karenina is a British epic romantic drama film directed by Joe Wright. It was perform in 2012. Adapted byTom Stoppard from Leo Tolstoy's 1877 novel of the same name.It was produced by Working Title Films.

The film is about a Russian girl of a high society, who is married to a civil servant and they have a son. They live in Sant Petersburg. One day, her brother asks Anna if she can help him with his wife. During the journey, Anna meets a woman who is travelling with her son too. At first, Anna feels attracted to the son. His name is Vronski, and he falls in love with her immediately. When she manage to solve the problems of her brother, Anna returns to Sant Petersburg because Kelly is jealous of her and Vronski. When Vronski knows that Anna is returning, he follows her and tells her he loves Anna and they have an affair. They escape together, and she abandoners her husband and her son. Vronski's mother wants him to marry a richer woman. Anna Karenina is very sad and ill. In the end she commits suicide.

I have seen the film a lot of times because I like very much it. But there are people who don't like Anna Krenina because is very strange. If you see it I hope that you like very much.

  1. I saw the film and I liked it very much. I like the story and I think the director did a great job of making it into a movie. I love those transitions from what seems like a theater place to the open spaces or a train. A great novel and a great movie.
